Customer Review: Great for Laminate Counters

I used these with a Bosch jig saw to cut laminate counters after they were installed. They were the post form type, and it made the whole job much easier cutting out sink holes from the top (no chips at all). Avoids flipping over a counter after cutting a large sink hole in the middle. Also it's easier to mark out on the top side. I used 3/4 plywood under the laminate counter, so the overall thickness where the holes were cut was 1 -1/2 inches.
The blades may work in a standard jig saw but I did not try them. I ordered the countertops from hd, ready-made from the fabricator, straight runs of counter only, and recommend this approach -if you only do counter tops every 20 years or so..
