First let me say, I'm a fan of Bosch tools. This is a great SDS Plus rotary hammer, but it's not as advertised. Bosch shows it on their website with a youtube video of the quick change chucks. The manual that arrived with the unit shows the optional 3 jaw chuck. Which of course requires removing the SDS chuck. This was the biggest reason I bought this unit, the versatility of changing chucks from SDS to 3 jaw chuck for straight bits. Bosch personnel only recommend 1618571014 which requires using the SDS chuck. this adds an extra 2.5 inches to the length. If I could get the optional 3 jaw chuck as shown on their video and manual, I would rate this drill 5 stars. I have been trying for 3 weeks, and to date have been recommended the 1618571014 chuck. Which makes it appear that Bosch is falsely promoting this tool.

UPDATE; Its been 2 months since I contacted Bosch about the 3 jaw chuck and here is the response from Bosch.

Thank you for writing and for your purchase of our new RH432VCQ hammer. Unfortunately the 3 jawed chuck is not available yet and I don't show a date on when it will be. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
